Why Coaching is Good
Like many girls growing up in the 70s, I wanted to be a cheerleader. I came from a basketball-loving family, before Title IX, and the only women near the court were cheerleaders so that's what I wanted to be. Things changed. I started playing, grew to be six feet tall and became the first woman to score 1,000 points at Amherst College! Now I've gone from being a player to being a coach -- a life and business coach. And today I am finally able to fulfill my girlhood dream of being a cheerleader, as I help my clients reach their goals and aspirations. It's the best part of my job.
